ITC Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work

Our ITC courses are practical and active. We strongly believe candidates learn best through their practical involvement.

Introduction
This qualification satisfies the statutory HSE obligations of the employer for smaller and low risk workplaces. This qualification has been accredited by Ofqual and ITC First as a Level 3.
The course requires 6 hours of contact time (not including breaks); this can be delivered over 1 day or over several shorter sessions. The qualification is valid for 3 years. The course covers the following areas within the context of workplace environment.

Course content
• Awareness of current regulations
• Vital Signs
• Incident Management
• Airway Management
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Choking
• Bleeding and treatment for shock
• Minor Injuries
• Record keeping
• First Aid kits

The qualification consists of one unit: Unit 1: EFAW – Emergency First Aid in the Workplace (A/504/4517)

We have courses running regularly across the West Midlands. We are also able to deliver courses for Clubs, Businesses, Schools or other organizations on their own premises.
